In 1992, at the breaking point of the post-soviet society, there were three of us: one Mac computer and two guys, one of whom was Madis Laas. Over time, this developed into Kontuur Design agency and caught the eye of prestigious international agency chain Leo Burnett Worldwide, who saw its potential. The chain acquired a 20% share in this small Estonian design agency, as a result of which Kontuur Leo Burnett was born in 1997.
Years later, Publicis Groupe acquired Leo Burnett, making us (to date) a member of the world’s second largest marketing and communications group, whose global network extends to more than 100 countries. Over time, Kontuur Leo Burnett advertising agency grew into a group of agencies, which gathered its activities in Estonia under the name Creative Union. Creative Union currently connects more than 100 people in around 10 agencies.
